Case Summary #1: December 2009 - Our client came to ATG LegalServe with a fourth alias summons and complaint, frustrated that his process server had been unable to effect service of the defendant over the previous five months. We explained to him that standard service attempts at the residence would be a waste of time. He agreed. We found that the defendant worked in downtown Chicago and we attempted service there. The defendant avoided service there as well.

Some research and a creative approach allowed us to serve the defendant personally at the wheel of her car as she ordered breakfast from a local McDonald's drive-thru. Case completed in 20 days.

Case Summary #2: February 2010 - Our client came to us with a fifth alias summons and complaint. His previous process server had been unable to achieve service since the previous summer. ATG LegalServe reviewed the case and, after conducting interviews at both of the defendant's last known addresses, determined that the defendant was actually in jail. We located the defendant in Lincoln, Illinois, at the Logan Correctional Center. We forwarded the documents to the sheriff of Logan County, and the defendant was personally served four days later. Having had no success with previous process servers for seven months, ATG LegalServe completed this case in only 14 days.
